Do I keep my existing number?
Yes. Keep your number and set up call forwarding to Halo: always, when you're busy, or when you don't answer. Or take a brand new local number. We walk you through it during setup.
What happens if it can't answer a question?
Halo never makes things up. It takes a detailed message and sends it to you straight away, or transfers the call to you if it's urgent, depending on how you set it up.
Will callers know it's an AI?
You decide. By default Halo tells callers it's an AI assistant if they ask. You can also have it say so up front.
Is my data safe?
Halo is run by Onecom, a UK business. Call data is handled in line with UK GDPR and you can delete recordings at any time.
Is there a contract?
Only if you choose one. Monthly plans can be cancelled any time from your dashboard. The 12-month plan is half price, paid monthly, but it's a commitment: once it starts it can't be cancelled until the 12 months are up. Every plan starts with a 30-day free trial you can end at no cost.
How long does setup take?
About five minutes. Answer a few questions, pick a voice, and your receptionist is live. You can fine-tune it whenever you like.
What if I go over my minutes?
